Prof. Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri is an academician, researcher, curriculum specialist, author, and public intellectual whose work spans Islamic Studies, Qur'anic Sciences, Curriculum Development, Educational Philosophy, Teacher Education, and Contemporary Islamic Thought. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor and has devoted his career to advancing quality education through teaching, research, scholarly writing, curriculum development, and public engagement.
Born on 8 December 1984 in Jhang, Punjab, Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri is the son of Muhammad Shafi. He belongs to a family that values education and moral development. He received his primary education from Ghazali Pilot School, Jhang, completed his Matriculation from Ghazali Pilot Secondary School, Yousaf Shah Road, Jhang, and obtained his F.Sc. from Government Degree College, Jhang. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Minhaj University Lahore, completed his M.Phil. from Lahore Leads University, and was awarded his Ph.D. by the University of Lahore.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Qadri has remained committed to integrating classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary educational theory. His research emphasizes the relevance of the Qur'an and Prophetic teachings in addressing modern intellectual, educational, social, and ethical challenges. His scholarly interests include curriculum studies, Islamic education, Qur'anic sciences, educational leadership, philosophy of education, personality development, teacher education, Islamic civilization, and the integration of Islamic values into contemporary educational systems.
Dr. Qadri has made significant contributions to curriculum design, textbook development, educational consultancy, research supervision, academic quality enhancement, and teacher training. His academic philosophy advocates an outcome-based educational system that nurtures knowledge, character, critical thinking, ethical responsibility, creativity, and lifelong learning.
An exceptionally prolific author, Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri has authored more than one hundred scholarly books, with numerous additional works currently under publication and preparation. His publications encompass Qur'anic Studies, Islamic Thought, Seerah of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), Education and Curriculum, Philosophy, Tasawwuf, Ahl al-Bayt Studies, Social Reform, Economics, Worship, and Contemporary Intellectual Issues. His writings aim to present Islamic teachings in a systematic, research-based, and accessible manner while addressing the intellectual and practical needs of contemporary society.
Beyond academia, Dr. Qadri is widely recognized as an inspiring public speaker. He has delivered more than 3,000 lectures on diverse religious, educational, intellectual, and social topics. Over 1,500 lectures are available through his official YouTube channel, while more than 2,000 lectures and educational programs are accessible through his official Facebook platforms.
